Sta-Prest
In 1964, Levi Strauss and co. produced the first wrinkle-free clothing under the name Sta-Prest. These products were marketed as being able to be worn straight out of the drier with no need for ironing. The trousers especially became fashionable amongst the mods, soon to be followed by Skinheads in 1960s Britain. These trousers have since become much imitated by other companies, such as Merc (who market theirs as "Sta Press"), as original pairs have become highly collectable.
