Spooky Tooth
Spooky Tooth was an British progressive rock band from the late 1960s.
They formed in 1967, out of The VIPs and Art. The line-up changed several times, but typically was Mike Harrison (keyboards/vovals), Greg Ridley (bass/vocals), Luther (Luke) Grosvenor (guitar/vocals), Mike Kellie (drums) and Gary Wright (organ/vocals).
They broke up in 1970, reformed in 1973, split again in 1974, to come back after a short break in 1998.
Another well known member in 1973 and 1974 was Mick Jones, later Foreigner. Ridley joined Humble Pie in 1969. Grosvernor played with Stealers Wheel and Mott the Hoople. Wright had a successful solo career.
