SplashPower
SplashPower Ltd. is a United Kingdom-based company founded in June 2001. It developes solutions for wireless charging of portable devices such as mobile phones and personal digital assistants. Their system works through inductive power transfer. Rechargeable devices equiped with a small, inexpensive SplashModule are placed upon a mouse-mat sized SplashPad and have their batteries recharged at a normal rate.
As of February 2005 they have yet to make an announcement as to when producits will be commercially available.
