Space Ritual

Space Ritual is a 1973 Hawkwind album of live recordings. Considered by fans to be one of the group's finest live releases, it features the "golden age" band line up of: Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Bob Calvert, Lemmy Kilmister, Simon King, Del Detmar, Dik Mik and Stacia.

Space Ritual features Hawkwind classics such as Master of the Universe, Sonic Attack, Space Is Deep, Born To Go and Brainstorm. Many of these tracks had previously appeared on earlier studio albums such as: Hawkwind, In Search of Space and Doremi Fasol Latido.

There is also an unofficial later release entitled Space Ritual Vol. 2, which is not actually a sequel but rather a selection of alternate versions of the same material.
