Soul Brains is the current, (er, most recent) incarnation of the legendary DC punk-band Bad Brains. The band claims to have taken this name as it more accurately described their "PMA" or Positive Mental Attitude than the original negative conotations of "Bad Brains." However, it was more likely a legal issue with their management and record labels arrising from their on-again/off-again status as Bad Brains...
