Søren Nystrøm Rasted

Søren Nystrøm Rasted was born in Blovstrød, Denmark on the 13 June 1969. He was a member of the pop-dance group Aqua, who had a hit in 1997 with "Barbie Girl".

Aqua was formed in 1995 and after the split-up in 2001 Søren gone on to be a judge on the Danish version of Pop Idol, and in 2004 released his first album since Aqua with the debut of his new project Lazyboy. His first single from the album, "Underpants Belong On The Inside", made the top ten in Australia and is expected to have success in the United States also.

Søren is married to former Aqua vocalist Lene Nystrøm Rasted and his one child, a girl called India. He also performed on the Danish tsunami song in 2004.
