Sony Ericsson T610
The Sony Ericsson T610, released in 2003, is a mobile phone manufactured by the Swedish firm Sony Ericsson. It was one of the first mobile phones to include a built-in digital camera and colour screen.
The T610 is available in three distinct colors: Aluminium Haze, Abyss Blue and Volcanic Red. Many customers of Sony Ericsson in the United Kingdom complained to providers about being unable to obtain the phone in any color other than Aluminium Haze, and to this day it is still the most widely-sold variant of the phone. The retro design of the phone was created by industrial designer Erik Ahlgren, and gained appreciation in magazines, at expositions and among buyers.
The T610 is a cameraphone, that can take digital photographs in a resolution up to 288 x 352 pixels. It includes 2.5G technologies, supporting GPRS and HSCSD connections with WAP 2.0 capability. It supports polyphonic ringtones in MIDI, and mobile games in Java (J2ME) and Mophun formats.

Criticisms
Many people have criticised the T610 for its Super-Twist Nematic (STN) screen technology, which, it has been said, performs poorly in direct sunlight, in contrast to the newer Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) technology which was even available at the time. It is also said that the reception is weaker than other brands of cellular technology. The camera resolution is also poor (although reasonably good for its time) and the memory is extremely limited by today's standards with the advent of expandable memory formats such as MMC and SD.
