"Someone To Call My Lover" was a 2001 hit single for pop music legend Janet Jackson and the second single from the album All For You. The song samples the guitar riff for America's 1976 song Ventura Highway. The song was about a woman looking for someone to be her boyfriend. Ironically, Jackson was now a single woman after having divorced her longtime husband, Rene Elizondo, after nearly 10 years of marriage. The song peaked at #3 on Billboard's Pop singles chart.
