Somebody to Love

"Somebody to Love" is a famous and influential rock song first recorded by The Jefferson Airplane. Written by Grace Slick and her brother-in-law Darby Slick, the song first appeared on the group's 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow and was the band's first and biggest single hit. Grace Slick's driving vocal is the focal point of the song, which was a hard-rock standout among the group's more typical psychedelia. The song later became a staple on Album Oriented Rock and Classic rock radio in the United States.

"Somebody to Love" is a Queen song written by Freddie Mercury, and released on the album A Day at the Races. Like its predecessor album's major hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody", this song has a complex layering of vocal tracks, this time based on a gospel choir arrangement.
