Dzialdowo

Działdowo is a town in north-central Poland with 20,700 inhabitants (1995).
Situated in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Ciechanow Voivodship (1975–1998).
History
Since January 17 1920 in Poland. During WW2, German Concentration camp Soldau, 13,000 murdered out of 30,000 prisoners. The known victims include:
- Saint Antoni Julian Nowowiejski (1858–1841), bishop
- Saint Leon Wetmański(1886–1941), bishop
- Saint Mieczysława Kowalska, sister (1902–1941)
