The naranjilla (Ecuadorian Spanish, diminutive of "naranja") or lulo (Colombian Spanish, < Quechua) (Solanum quitoense Lam.) is a perennial plant. The juice of the naranjillas is somewhat green and is used as a beverage. The species "quitoense" was named after Quito.
