You can add the appropriate stub message to an article and include it in one of these categories as follows. If the stub you want is not listed, read the Stub Category Creation Guidelines first.

Stub Category Creation Guidelines

Get approval for your new stub at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Stub sorting first. If no objection is made for at least one week, you may create your stub.

Do not create stub categories for categories you anticipate will contain less than 100 articles. You do not need the 100 already identified, but the category should fill without significant hunting for stubs to populate it.

Remember to include your new stub tag into the creation of your new stub category!!!

Double check the Criteria page to make sure you are either making a new unrelated category or a category that narrows an existing category.

When creating a new stub, please try to keep it with the existing format. Avoid long stub names, and use a dash between the shortened name and the word stub. Please be advised to create broad categories for subjects unless it is completely necessary to define a very specific category (i.e. you're part of a WikiProject and you want to sort your stubs.) Don't forget to add it to the stub list! Please add it to the correct category or otherwise add it to the Misc category by Add to Misc Category Stubs

Basic format for new stubs:

Please make sure to include a new stub category so that the list of stubs for the new stub will be automatically listed in its own category.

When creating a new stub category, please use the {{subst:Stub Category}} tag as described above.
