Slave II

Years after Boba Fett's apparent death at the Great Pit of Carkoon, he managed to escape. With this new freedom he vowed revenge on one Han Solo, and so set into motion a plan. Since his original ship, Slave I, was in impound, he obtained a new one. This would also help keep his profile low until he actually wanted to confront the smuggler.

Slave II is a MandalMotors Pursuer Enforcement Ship, a patrol craft, which was popular with the Mandalorian police units since it was tough and good at dealing with pirates, as well as having the cargo space for the usual police needs. Once Fett had bought the ship, he immediately went about modifying it so it would hold all the "nasty surprises" that victims of his other ship experienced.

Two Tion Mil/Sci Mil-StarIV engines propel the heavy patrol craft, and there are three Corellian Engineering x41 maneuvering thrusters mounted on the port-side stabiliser. Powerful Torplex military-grade shield generators provide protection, whereas the ship itself is armed with twin forward firing plaster cannons and an ion cannon turret. There is also a "surprise weapon", consisting of a rearward firing proton torpedo launcher, which holds a magazine of six torpedoes. The ship also has a sophisticated sensor array system, such as in Slave I, though it lacks the stealth systems found in Slave I. This doesn't mean that they wouldn't eventually be installed though.

There are also rumours of five force-field enclosed prisoner cages on board. Since his prime target's best friend is a Wookiee, it is not unlikely that there would be molecularly reinforced cell walls and gravitic restraints in the cells.

Han Solo did encounter Boba Fett in the end, on Nal Hutta's moon Nar Shaddaa. "The Sarlacc found me somewhat indigestible", were the opening words in the reunion between the two men; one a vengeful bounty hunter, the other a scruffy and shocked smuggler. After a tense escape for Solo, seeing the death of one Hutt who was flipped from his hover platform into the voids of Nar Shadda, Fett pursued the Millennium Falcon in his new ship. The Falcon at this time had been secretly hiding aboard the Starlight Intruder, a ship owned by Salla Zend. Fett managed to track the hyperspace vector of the Intruder, which eventually led him to the Imperial world of Byss.

However, as the Falcon entered the atmosphere of the planet the planetary shield was activated, causing Fett to collide and rip off his stabiliser bar, disabling his ship. But since Fett's own shields were up he escaped incineration and would go on to continue his pursuit of the smuggler in his original ship. Slave II, for now, would be put into drydock.

The Pursuer Enforcement Ships can also be experienced in the game X-Wing Alliance, where they sometimes make an appearance, often piloted by pirates. There is also the option to fly the PES ship in the combat simulator feature.
