"She's Like The Wind" was a 1980's hit pop/rock song sung by actor Patrick Swayze alongside Wendy Fraser. Swayze wrote and penned this song also. This song claimed the facts that Swayze is a talented singer/songwriter.
When the "Diry Dancing" film was finalizing the soundtrack, Swayze himself wrote this song and asked if he could sing the song. The director and producers agreed and he was allowed to make a recording. His singing was a success, being #3 on pop charts, but #1 around the world.
Although Swayze didn't have pervious music experience, this song proved it.
The song was to be played in his movies, entitled "Grandview, U.S.A." from 1984, but it was switched to his starring movie role in "Dirty Dancing" in 1987.
"She's Like The Wind" has been heard on radios throughout the United States, and remains a favorite.

After "She's Like The Wind", Swayze co-wrote the song "Next Of Kin" in 1989, but it wasn't that successful.
