Seijuu Sentai Gingman

Star Beast Task Force Gingaman was TOEI Company Limited's 22nd production of the Super Sentai television series. Its footage was used in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

Plot

3,000 years ago, the space pirate Balban invaded Earth. SeiJuu & the first Gingaman, warriors of the Ginga forest, fought them with the mystical power called "Earth" & finally sealed them. Ginga people has cloaked their forest in marked boundaries & has succeeded the duty of Ginga warriors through generations. Hyuga, Gouki, Hayate, Hikari and Saya are chosen for the 133rd warriors of the Star Beast Swords. Ryouma felt very happy his elder brother Hyuga succeeds the honorable title. When Elder Orghi holds the ceremony of the succession of Star Beast Swords, an earthquake breaks the seal of Balban.

Orghi orders 133rd warriors to get the Ginga Brace hidden in Roaring Mountain. However, Balban attacks them to prevent the birth of new Gigaman. At last, Hyuga gets swallowed into the crack in the ground which Captain Zahab of Balban created. Getting raged, Ryouma activates his hidden Earth and awakes Ginga Brace. Gingaman fights together with Seijuu against the Balban who desire to revive the Demon Beast Ditanix whose 'corpse' they built their castle on.

• Ryouma/GingaRed: He becomes GingaRed to succed Hyuga's last wish. His potential is stronger than Hyuga's. Bright & optimistic, but he's a hardworking person.

• Fairy Bokk: A fairy with a acorn-like helmet.

• Haruhiko Aoyama: A writer for children's stories, who believes the existence of legendary Ginga forest.

• Yuuta Aoyama is Haruhiko's son, who didn't believe the legend, though, he witnesses the birth of 13th Gigaman.

• Hyuga/Black Knight: Ryouma's elder brother. He was chosen for the 133rd GingaRed, but he got swallowed into the crack in ground caused by Zaihab. He was save by Bulltaurus, who posessed the boy body for a while until he discarded him. But Hyuga soon gaven the power to become the BlackKnight.

• Elder Orghi: Leader of the Ginga people. When the Ginga Forest was attacked by Shelinda to use its energy to revive Ditanix, Orghi cast a petrification spell on himself & everything in the forest to prevent her from sucking the energy. Before fully petrified, Orghi left a pendant with a seed to Gingaman.

• Moak, the Wisedom Tree: Orghi's final gift to the Gingamen before he was fully turned to stone. Moak senses all the events such as Balban's activity that happen near every woods. He also a knowledge of all Ginga legends.

• BlackKnight BullTaurus: A vengeful knight.

• Seijuu: Able to armor into Silver Seijju & from there combine into Gingaiou.
  • Gingareon: Lion-like beast of flame.

Balban

Under the command of Captain Zaihab, they looted many worlds before coming to Earth.

• Captain Zahab: The 1st GingaRed cut his left hand off so that he replaced it to an artificial hand and has a grudge aginst those who take the mantle of GingaRed.

• Steerwoman Sherinda: The cruel & selfish steerwoman of Ditanix. Her face was scared by Hayate and she swore vengeance against him. Near the finale, Sherinda challanges Hayate to a one on one duel and she was slain by him.

• Barreled Scholar Pucrates: A stout little being that has been researching way to revive Ditanix. Though he lacks battle skills, he makes up for it with his extensive knowledge. He helped his love Iliess arrange Budou's death. But when Iliess died because of their fellow Balbans' plotting to steal her power to revive Ditanix, he began to go mad. He barely escaped with his own life, & hatched a plot to destroy Captain Zaihab, eventually forcing Hyuuga to work for him. But was killed by Shelinda before he could see his revenge fulfilled.

• Gun Head Sambash: A straightforward gunman, the first of the four Balban Generals to fight the GingaMan. He carried a pistol and fancied himself something of a lone biker. His Majin are biker bug-themed. He went out in a blaze of glory, when he finally realized he had failed to defeat the new Gingaman.

• Sword General Budou: A calm swordsman who was the second general of the Balban. He had a mostly white and blue outfit with manta ray-like wings as a partial cape behind him; he had a samurai sword{Girasame}, and a blue face with a black and white version of his horizon emblem on his head. His Majin are based on Marine Animal-themed He took over the search for the "Galaxy Lights", but also had Bullblack to deal with. When the Lights were finnally foundm, Budo sent his most powerful servant to retrieve them. But Illiess had her own soldier, Medoumedou, pose as Budou & decieve into absorbing the power of the Lights, and had betrayed him. Budou was locked up only to be released by Yamimaru & Onimaru, who revealed who MedouMedou framed him. Budou got his revenge & died soon after in duel againt GingaRed.

• Spectral Empress Iliess: Spiteful sorceress who is the third General, intending to revive Dytanix through sorcery. Of course, her plots and/or her Majjin have failed to do so. Her Majin are based around Mythology. She eventally takes matters into her own hand, absorbing the dead souls of her Tribe to fight the Gingaman & died.

• Break King Batobas: A powerful fighter who uses several weapons, strongest warrior among the four. His Majin are based around brute strength, although some of them are also machine based. He was the last to fight the Gingaman, with the mission to get enough energy to fully revive Dytanix. He later was sent to find the EarthBeast & fully mature it with a Growth Extract, but he ended being eaten alive by the monster.

• Beeznella: The evil merchant who captured three Seijuu he made into cyborgs, & sold them to Balban. But after his merchandise teamed up with the Gingaman, Beeznella was recuited into the pirate crew under the service of Batobas.

• • Gurinjii (12): A Cockroach Majin who posed as Hyuuga to trick Ryouma into opening the cavern to the Galaxy Lights. After Ryouma obtained the box that the Lights were in, "Hyuuga" knocked Ryouma out and took the box. "Hyuuga" returned to Sambash with the box & revealed his true form. While he died fighting the Gingaioh, Sambash learned that the box was actually empty.

• • Kairikibou (18): A strong red and white Majin with coral-like growths all over his body. He wields a large red sledgehammer. For thousands of years, nothing could withstood the crash of the hammer. He when after a unbreakble stone that supposedly contained the Galaxy Lights, Karikibou prepared to smash the stone open with his sledgehammer. He hit the stone three times, until the the third strike broke the hammer's handle apart. When the Gingamen fired their Juugekibou at Kariikibou, he held the stone in front of him to take the blast. The stone was undamaged. But Bulltaurus succed in slicing the stone in half while killing the Majin.

• • Dotoumusha (22–23): The most powerful of Budou's Majin, a red lobster-themed samurai warrior. He was sent in Budou's final attempt to draw the Galaxy Lights from the earth. Dotoumusha created a force field to prevent interference from the Gingaman & used his staff to draw out the Lights. Although the rangers destroyed the force field, they were unable to prevent the Lights' release. In a desperate chase, Dotoumusha captured the Lights in a magic urn. He was then tricked into using the Lights for himself in Iliess' scheme to mark Budou as a traitor. But in an attack by BullTaurus, Dotoumusha lost the Lights to the Gingaman, who used their newfound powers to destroy him.

  • Medoumedou (23–24): A medusa-themed Majin, abnle to disguise herself. When Iliess got impatient of waiting for her chance, she sends MedouMedou to pose as Budo & tricked Dotomusha into using the Galaxy Lights. "Budo" also gave him a beaded snake bracelet as a reward. When the Balban saw Budo's Majin using the Lights instead of bringing them back, Zaihab accused Budo of treason & had him locked up. With her task complete, MedouMedou tried to use the snake bracelet to get siphoned the light from Dotomusha, but was wounded by Bulltaurus and fled the battle. She eventally was killed by Budo when he learned that she framed him.

Majuu

• Ditanix: The goal of the Balban was the reserruction of Ditanix, which suceeded when Iliess' lifeforce was asorbed by it. It resulted with the monster's heart beating & Batobas eventually gather enough energy to fully revive it. However, Dintanix' body was decaying during it found the Seiyuu so the Balban abandoned the monster to its death...

• EarthBeast(48–50): When Ditanix was destoryed, a piece of its flesh ended up under the Earth & slowly evolved into a new monster, the Earth Beast.
