Nina Rescott first appeared on the show as a member of the rival cosmetics company of Silas Industries, *Sparkle* Cosmetics. She worked her best to help Tommy Kimbal takeover Silas Industries but was wooed away. Nina was a great woman of many talents and abilities and her year and 1/2 long stay on the Pike Creek scene was a time of rivalry, passion, and happiness, and at times sorrow. Nina dated and married wealthy and much older industrialist Vincent Silas II.

Nina at age 26 was much younger than 75 year old Vincent. Secretly she fell in love with Vincent at was ready to fight and take him away from Meg Wolfe, Vincent's love interest who was his own age. She finally came clean with Vincent that she was actually an industrial spy for his business enemy Tommy Kimbal but Vincent forgave her for bieng honest. They got close while working together at Silas Industries and Vincent was impressed by this young woman's class, style, and intelligance. Meg saw right through Nina and knew of Nina's intentions to steal her man. Meg told Vincent of Nina's shadiness but Vincent refused to believe it. Vincent soon realized he was in love with both Nina and Meg. Vincent's daughter's Kim and Leah who were also much older than Nina didn't like Nina nor Meg but prefered Meg as a romantic partner for their father and tried to help Meg hold on to Vincent. But soon Vincent couldn't hold his feelings in any longer. One night Nina stole Vincent away. Vincent came over to Nina's apartment to go over plans for Silas Industries Nina and Vincent ended up confessing their love for each other and having sex. Vincent regretted that night the next morning and made it clear that it was just one night. Because of her deep love for Vincent she kept it a secret from everyone just to protect his happiness with Meg. But a few weeks later this love triangle story hit a surpising twist, Nina found out that she was pregnant with Vincent's baby. When Vincent found out he was ecstatic he broke up with Meg and arranged for Nina to move in with him in his mansion. Which Vincent's snooty daughter's hated.

Nina and Vincent happily awaited the birth of their child and Nina loved living in the lap of luxury at the Silas Mansion. Nina and Vincent married in a private and passionate ceremony before the baby was born. Nina also made peace with Meg. Baby Vincent Silas III was born in a limo on the way to the hospital. But what was supposed to be a joyful time turned out to be a time of pain and sorrow for Nina. Vincent was worried about his wife as Nina went over the edge more. Nina was suffering from severe post-partum and wanted nothing to do with her baby. One day when Nina snuck out of the house she stole the keys of Leah's Ferari and went on a dangerous joyride she ended up plunging the side of a mountain into a steep valley she was still concsious but barely alive. Amazingly because of that accident and nasty hit on the head it brought back Nina's sanity. Nina was in constant agony and needed a machine to breath and stay alive she told Vincent to take her out of her misery and take her of the breathing machine, Vincent was horrified. Nina fell in and out of consiousness. After a week of begging and begging Nina fell into a coma. Finally Vincent decided to do what his wife asked and take her off the breathing machine Nina woke up a week later and wished to see her son. Nina got acqaunted with her baby and told Vincent one last time that she loved him even though she was in so much agony. Nina then fell back into a coma. The next day Vincent gave permission to take his wife off of her breathing machine Nina died 3 minuets later.
