Rutherford Sirk

Rutherford Sirk is a fictional character from the television show "Angel".

A former member of the defunct Watcher's Council, he joined Wolfram and Hart and took along with him several valuable tomes belonging to the Council. Later when Angel Investigations was offered the LA branch of Wolfram and Hart, he was the one that showed Wesley around their research and archives division. He showed up again in season 5 and was part of Eve and Lindsey's plan to set Angel and Spike against each in the false quest for the Cup of Perpetual Torment, really just a cup with Mountain Dew, and to determine which one was really the vampire with the soul in the Shanshu Prophecy.
