Rugby Leonessa 1928
Rugby Leonessa 1928 is a Italian rugby union club currently competing in Super 10. They are based in Brescia in Lombardy.
The team was formed in 2002 after the merger of A.S. Rugby Rovato and Rugby Brescia. Rugby Brescia was founded as XV Legione Leonessa dÂ’Italia in 1928, while Rovato was founded in 1976.
The newly merged team started in Serie A winning promotion with a record number of points (111) and 19 straight wins. From 2003–2004 they have played in Super 10.
