Ruben Kuzniecky
Ruben Kuzniecky (1957-present); famed neurologist known especially for groundbreaking work in the field of epilepsy. Was born in Panama City, Panama to Salem and Ama Kuzniecky – both immigrants from Argentina. He attended the Pedagogico Academy in Panama City and after moving to Buenos Aires, attended medical school there. He moved to Montreal in 1982 to complete his residency at the famous Montreal Neurological Institute. He married Yvonne Kuzniecky in 1983 and they have three children – Avi, Hannah, and Joel. They now reside in Englewood, NJ where Dr. Kuzniecky practices medicine at NYU Hospital.
