Roza Otunbayeva

Roza Otunbayeva (born 1950) is a Kyrgyz politician and diplomat. She has been the acting foreign minister of that country since March 25 2005 when she was appointed immediately following the Tulip Revolution. She was previously foreign minister under Kyrgyzstan's first post-Soviet leader Askar Akayev briefly during 1992 and again from 1994 to July 1 1997. After this she broke with Akayev and became an important opposition leader.
