Roy Williams (DB)
Roy Williams (born August 14, 1980 in Redwood City, California) is a safety for the the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Williams was drafted as the #8 pick in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft out of the University of Oklahoma, where he played on a national championship football team in 2000. In 2001, his junior season at OU, he won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the nation's top overall defensive player and the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back. Williams has quickly established himself as one of the hardest hitting safeties in the NFL.
Williams is engaged to hip-hop vocalist Kelly Rowland, although the wedding is reportedly off.
