Roy D. Mercer

Roy D. Mercer is a fictional character played by Brent Douglas on Tulsa's KMOD radio station. Roy D. Mercer calls people on the telephone and claims that they broke stuff or did things and that they have to pay for it. One example is when he told a man at the Oklahoma News Network that he told a story about his sister getting drunk and getting into a fist fight at the bowling alley. He got into a big fight with him and then at the end, they told him who set the prank on him, then they have a big laugh about it at the end. People call into him to call someone to fool. He has a fictional wife and children. His wife's name is Sharon Jean Mercer, his son's name is Raymound Mercer, and his step-daughter's name is Lateeshea Mercer. He is a redneck. He wears overalls and a John Deere cap. He once called Goldberg and threatned to whoop his ass.

Some famous remarks from him are "I'll knock a lung loose" or "I'll whoop somebody's ass."
