Roque Junior

José Roque Junior (born August 31, 1976) is a Brazilian footballer who was part of the 2002 World Cup winning team. Widely known as a fearsome opponent, he is a tough tackler and a quick thinker.

Roque has played for Palmeiras, A.C. Milan, Leeds United F.C., A.C. Siena and Bayer Leverkusen. Although successful on the international stage for Brazil, his club career has been marred by incosistency.
