Ron Toomer

Ronald Valentine Toomer (31 May 1930-) is one of the preeminent roller coaster designers in the world. He worked for the firm Arrow Dynamics for many years before becoming President in 1986. Toomer is responsible for designing the Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio and Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virgina. Toomer is famously known for not actually riding any of the roller coasters he designs, having had a motion sickness problem since childhood.
