Rob Blair

Rob Blair is a weatherman who was fired on January 17, 2005 for allegedly uttering a racial slur about Martin Luther King Jr. Blair was the weekend weatherman for Las Vegas ABC affiliate KTNV.

On Saturday January 15, 2005 Blair said "For tomorrow, 60 degrees, Martin Luther Coon King Jr. Day, gonna see some temperatures in the mid-60s."

Blair said the incident was a slip of the tongue and not a racial epithet. Blair had worked for the station for three months. Prior to his job at KTNV, Blair worked at KNVN in Chico, California, and in Palm Springs at KMIR.

Blair graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
