Ripto

Ripto the sorcerer is one of the most persistant villains in the Spyro the Dragon video game series.

Appearing in a whopping 5 titles of the series, as opposed to other villains Gnasty Gnorc, the Sorceress, Grendor the rhynoc, and Red the dragon, who each have one game apiece as the main villain, Ripto has an extreme dislike of dragons, dating back before his first encounter with Spyro.

In his first appearence, Ripto attempted to take over the realms of Avalar, where Elora the faun, Hunter the cheetah, and the Professor reside. He was brought there by Hunter's stupidly entering the code 22475 into the superportal keypad.

Ripto's many appearances have garnered him quite a following since he came about in the year 1999.
