Riot Van
Riot Van Are a small time Sheffield punk band who briefly ciculated the Hardcore Bean Head scean in 2004, they became popular with a small group of sheff punks while only playing a few gigs before the drummer left sheffield to live in devon.
They gained a small amount of prestige when their first gig resulted in them being bared from the venue for being to extream and making to many anti bush and blair comments. A number of the crowed who turned up to see them were also barred. This only resulted in the band also having a huge anti censorship movment on stage in and in their material.
The band unfortiontly split up after Chester moved out of sheffield but the remaning three members are busy working on a new project continuing their assolt on censorship within music, and the goverment.

Russian – Vocals (a sort of manic shouting and entertaing dancing)
Lucas – Bass and being batty
Smon – guitar and hair
Chester – Hitting skins
Samora – The band masscot
Gigs
Well as stated above the band have split up and are no longer giging... but their is talk of a reunion gig when chester returns to sheffield for a while during the summer. If this happens it will be in one of the following locations: The Grapes, The Bordwalk or DNR Live. One of these will also be the place to see Russian, Smon and Lucas with their new project with drummer Drew... If he ever reappears as he has gone awoll at the moment.
