Right to life

(Redirected from Right-to-lifer)

The term "right to life" is a political term used in controversies over various issues that involve the taking of a life (or what is perceived to be a life). It is most commonly used in reference to abortion meaning the same as Pro-Life; it is also found in discussions about capital punishment and euthanasia. Some use the term "right-to-lifer" to refer to abortion opponents, but many use it to refer to people who are against both abortion and the death penalty (or, less commonly, against abortion, the death penalty, and euthanasia).
