Ricaine
Ricaine was a rock band from Melbourne, Australia, that released several albums. The group was made up of: Neil Thomason – guitar, vocals; Brett O'Rielly – bass; Tom Jackman – drums.
The trio played its first show in December 1994, followed by a debut release in early 1995 in way of split 7" with Baseball aka Cameron Potts. 1997 saw the group spend a month in the United States, playing shows in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, as well as the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. While in Chicago they spent a week recording their second full-length release, The Clarity of Distance, with US engineer Bob Weston of Shellac fame.
The band has since broken up.
