Revelations is a 6 part television miniseries that began airing on April 13th, 2005 on the NBC network. Taking place in modern day times, the show explores the end days as well as prophecies relating to them.

Synopsis
As signs become apperant, a nun and a scientist come together to save the world.
Controversy
Some aspects of the miniseries have caused controversy among many, such as the scene on Episode 1 of the miniseries in which a girl, after being screamed at by her father, says "Jesus!" which is known as "taking the Lord's name in vain" among some Christians. She walks into a golf course and is struck by lightning twice, forcing her into a persistent vegetative state. Many have criticized this scene, saying it is the action of a cruel god.
