Reggie Fowler
Reggie Fowler is an American businessman from Arizona. Fowler is the owner of Chandler, Arizona-based Spiral, Inc.
Fowler is the general partner in a group of investors that have made a bid to buy the NFL's Minnesota Vikings from current owner Red McCombs. McCombs has accepted the group's offer, but it is subject to approval by the NFL's financial committee, who need to make sure that Fowler has the financial wherewithal to make the purchase. As an African-American, Fowler would become the first minority owner of a major-league sports franchise in the United States if the sale were to be approved. A very private man, Fowler has not disclosed any information about his financial situation to the media; this has led to much speculation that he does not have the necessary funds after all.
New Jersey developer Zygmunt Wilf is one of Fowler's partners, and may take on the lead ownership position if the bid to buy the Vikings succeeds. Wilf is chief operating officer of Garden Commercial Properties, which operates 30,000 apartment units and oversees other retail properties.
