Recurrent rotation
Recurrent rotation refers to a song still getting frequent airplay on a CHR station after several months.
The Billboard charts include these lists: "Top 40 Mainstream Recurrents", "Top 40 Rhythmic Recurrents", and "Top 40 Adult Recurrents". One-hit wonders, such as Eamon and Maria Mena, usually receive more recurrent airplay than artists who have several hits.
