Ready 2 Rumble

Ready 2 Rumble is a boxing game for the Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64 in 1999 by Midway.

The game is reminiscent of Nintendo's Punch Out series in that it features many characters with colorful personalities (i.e. Afro Thunder, Borris "The Bear" Knokimov, etc.). However, unlike the Punch Out series, Ready 2 Rumble is 3D and thus allows more control over your character in the ring.

Throughout the fight you can earn letters by delivering multiple hard punches. Each Boxer has a special move (called a "Rumble Fury") that they unleash when you spell out the word "RUMBLE."

The game was followed by a sequel in 2001 called Ready 2 Rumble Round 2.
