Re'ol

The Re'ol are a fictional alien race from the sci-fi television show, Stargate SG-1.

Almost wiped out by the Goa'uld, the Re'ol have a unique natural defense: one of their secretions is used to create memories.

In the episode "Fifth Man", a Re'ol managed to infiltrate SG-1 as Lt. Tyler. He was captured by the Goa'uld and while they were taking him for study, he managed to escape and destroy the guidance system on their ship.

After crash landing on a planet, the Re'ol managed to find the SG-1 team and made them believe he was a part of their group. When they contacted the SGC for extraction, they refused because Lt. Tyler wasn't part of their team.

The Re'ol substance was used in the episode "Summit" to fool Yu into thinking that Daniel Jackson was his personal servant.
