Single Image Random Dot Stereogram

(Redirected from Rastergram)

A Single Image Random Dot Stereogram (SIRDS), or a rastergram, is a stereogram composed of (coloured) dots which when viewed correctly appears three-dimensional. SIRDs, originally autostereograms, were invented by Dr. Christoper Tyler, Associate Director of the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco.
