Table of contents

Overview

Ragged Mountain is a medium sized mountain for New England, but it does boast some extremely challenging terrain, particularly glades skiing. Also unusual for a mountain this size is its well known Out of Bounds (OOB) skiing.

Vertical Drop

1,250 ft.

Chairlifts

Ragged Mountain includes 50 trails on two main peaks, and 9 lifts, including:

  • Six-Pack (six person chair lift)
  • Two Triple Chairs
  • Three Double Chairs
  • Two Rope Tows
  • Snowtubing Lift

Other

Because the mountain is rarely as busy as the larger New Hampshire mountains such as Loon Mountain or Waterville Valley, the lift lines are usually very short. Apres-ski opportunities within 30 miles are negligible.
