Raffles College

Raffles College is a Singapore high school run broadly along the lines of a British public school.

Named after Thomas Stamford Raffles (one of many Singapore institutions named after the city-state's founder) the college is part of a group of educational institutions at several levels.

The college, founded in 1929, is renowned for being a "hothousing" environment but turns out bright, successful graduates many of who go on to study abroad.
