Quo Vadis (novel)
Quo Vadis is a novel by a Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz, describing the introduction of Christianity into early A.D. Rome (while under Nero's rule). It was published in 1895. This novel chiefly contributed to Sienkiewicz's Nobel Prize for literature in 1905. One aspect seen in this very classic is that it is a masterpiece for adults, for people developing in a criteria of profound thought in christendom. The Hollywood film Quo Vadis based on the novel was made in 1951.
