Quinn Dexter

Quinn Dexter is a fictional character, the primary villain in Peter F. Hamilton's The Night's Dawn Trilogy. He is the closest embodiment of pure evil that occurs in the series. Killing, raping, and tricking his way across the Confederacy, he wishes to bring about the end of the world.

Quinn Dexter is partially responsible for the possession crisis which grips humanity.

Dexter is generally a character who has no qualms about using anything within his power to gain power, hence his use of sex( both consentual sex and rape ).

The fact that in the end of the series, Quinn Dexter actually succeeds in his mission, end of the universe, is often a matter of difficulty for readers of the series to take. Although this minor flaw is balanced heavily with the more rewarding endings. Primarily Dariat's, whose ending is arguably the antithesis of Quinns.
