Query
In general, a query is a form of questioning, in a line of inquiry.
- In computing, a database query is often specified using the structured query language SQL.
- Some people, especially programmers, use the name "query" as a shorthand for question mark, in the same way that bang is used for exclamation point.
- Among Quakers, a query is a question used for reflection and in spiritual exercises.
