Province of Vercelli

Vercelli (It. Provincia di Vercelli) is a province in the Piedmont region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Vercelli.

It has an area of 2,088 sq km, and a total population of 176,829 (2001). There are 86 communes in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see this link).
