Power, Corruption & Lies is the breakthrough album by indie rock band New Order, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music). The band's second album, after forming out of the ashes of Joy Division following the suicide of Ian Curtis, Power, Corruption & Lies achieved more widespread popularity than any of the band's previous releases.

Peter Saville's artwork for the album featured a colour-based code and didn't actually feature the band or album name. The decoder for the colour code was featured prominently on the back cover of the album.

The decoder can be used for the album as well as the Blue Monday and Confusion singles.

The US-version of the album includes the top-selling 12" of all time, "Blue Monday", and showcases a move towards electronic dance music.

On the Billboard Music Charts (North America), "Blue Monday" peaked at #5 on the Club Play Singles chart.
