Pohjanmaa class minelayer

Introduction

The Pohjanmaa minelayer is a type of vessel used by the Finnish Navy.

There is currently only one Pohjanmaa class vessel in service in the Finnish Navy. It is the flagship of the navy. This vessel was commissioned in 1979, and modernised in 1998. The main task for Pohjanmaa is mine laying.
