Phalloidin

Phalloidin is a toxin from the Death Cap mushroom that binds actin, inhibiting its depolymerization. Phalloidin binds specifically F-actin and is therefore a very convenient tool to investigate the distribution of F-actin since fluorescent analogs can be synthesized that retain actin binding.
