Paul Lambert
Paul Lambert (born August 7 1969) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Celtic F.C. of Glasgow, Scotland. His position is in the midfield, and he has previously been selected for the Scottish national team.
Lambert started his career at Linwood Rangers in 1984, before transferring to St Mirren F.C. in 1985. He played here for 8 years before transferring to Motherwell F.C. in 1993.
In 1996 Lambert transferred to the German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. He was well liked by the fans in Germany, and he contributed to the team's success in winning the 1997 UEFA Champions League.
In November 1997, after one year playing in the Bundesliga, he was signed by Celtic F.C. for a fee in the region of £2,000,000. He has played in Scotland ever since. As of 2005 he is currently studying for football coaching qualifications.
