Pam Currie

Pam Currie (born 1977) is the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered spokesperson for the Scottish Socialist Party, which has six seats in the Scottish Parliament.

In 2005 she was elected to its executive committee. This means that she is probably the only openly lesbian member of the executive committee of any political party in the United Kingdom with significant parliamentary or local government representation.

She is a part-time lecturer at Stow College in Glasgow, in the social studies section, where she teaches women's studies.
