Pál Turán

(Redirected from Pal Turán)

Paul (Pál) Turán (August 28 1910September 26 1976) was a Hungarian mathematician who made contributions in number theory and group theory. He proved one of the first major results in extremal graph theory. He wrote several papers with Paul Erdös.

Turan was born and passed away in Budapest.
