Pa-mirc

PA-mIRC is a game that is scripted by using the IRC client mIRC and the mIRC Scripting Language. PA-mIRC stands for "mIRC-Planetarion" and means that this game is a clone of the original game that still can be found at planetarion.com.

Planetarion became "p2p", which, in this context means "Pay to play". A web-based game (see link for more web-based games which is similar to Planetarion) started to charge money. So the idea for PA-mIRC was to create a free game, and to add the server module so that other players could host game it own game.
