Osiris (Stargate)

In the science fiction television show Stargate SG-1, the fictional character Osiris is a Goa'uld on which the original Osiris of Egyptian Mythology was based. Osiris was trapped on Earth with his mate Isis. He escaped and took a human host in Sarah Gardener, who worked with and dated Daniel Jackson when they worked with Dr. David Jordan in their pre-PhD days.

Since then, Osiris has become in league with Anubis. In Season 7 of Stargate SG-1, Osiris returned to Earth to try and gain access to the location of the Lost City of the Ancients which she believed was stored inside Daniel Jackson's mind. It was also in this episode that SG1 successfully captured Osiris and had the symbiote removed from the host, thus restoring her to her original self, but still with all the memories of what the Goa'uld did whilst in control of her body.
