Ortaköy
Ortaköy is a small town located in the middle of the Bosphorus, Istanbul. It is famous for hosting many different religious (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Orthodox) structures. It is also known for its lovely buildings that host many pubs, bars, galleries and restaurants. There are reputable schools such as Kabataş Erkek Lisesi and Galatasaray University situated in Ortaköy.
The Bosphorus Bridge is in Ortaköy, and the town is also the site of George W. Bush's speech at the NATO Summit of 2004.
It's a must see for tourists and a place where you have to carefully examine the menu before ordering. The Ortaköy mosque is also a sight to see and is probably the closest mosque to the sea in anywhere in the world.
